Is fancying cartoon characters just plain wrong?

Bunking off work yesterday (as I am today), I kicked back and watched the first series of Daria. Apart from wondering why we Brits can't come anywhere near the quality of some of the best US cartoons, I realised how attracted I was to Daria's friend Jane:

Jane is on the right, Daria is on the left (don't fancy yours much).

Now I hadn't watched any Daria episodes for some time, but it suddenly dawned on me that someone I had pulled and been quite smitten with a couple of years ago was Jane in all but the hair (don't think outside of a cartoon you could quite pull that hairstyle off).

Anyone had any similar experiences? And if you say you've pulled anyone like Penelope Pitstop, I simply will not believe you.

For many years before time, I, the dinosaur that is Eschphermillon or, if you like Hektor Dwa, nourished upon a concept of the drawn world. Lurked I did by the old pumpkin and many friends did I have in that place of idle illustrations.

All this and more, you will find in the books that have been written on the subject.

Especially when she had that boob job.

And what about Layla off Futurama?

Hell! If the writers didn't want us to fancy her, they wouldn't make her so damned attractive, would they?

Apart from that one big eye in the middle of her forehead. I'm not being eyeist here, just, well, eeeyew.
